Meet the Team - Dr. Zach Elkhatib

Dr. Zach got his foot in the dental door early on.  While at the University of Texas in Dallas, during pre-dental, he served as an Officer on the Pre-Dental Board Association.  This helped Dr. Zach earn a spot at Texas A&M’s highly sought after Dental Program.  Once he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, he took a full time position with a local Mesquite dental office, where he was able to hone in on his dental skills, particularly diagnosing, fillings and crown and bridge dentistry.

Since joining the Arte Dental team, he has taken a mentorship with Arte Dental owner, and Founder of 5 Minute Implants, Dr. William Nguyen.  Here, he is actively expanding his skillset to include implant placement and restoration, while also serving as the primary care general dentist onsite at Arte Dental Plano.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.  These associations require strict adherence to dental ethics, codes of conduct and the participation of continuing education in dentistry.His favorite food is Thai food, but he’ll eat anything that is spicy. He also enjoys watching soccer and is a big Liverpool FC fan.
